Information about the Healthcare Freedom Act from Representative Scott Plakon

We've received many comments and emails from people wanting more information about the health care bill issue.

State Representative Scott Plakon (District 37), who will be speaking at our Pink Slip Party this Saturday, has emailed us the following information about the Healthcare Freedom Act that he sponsored in the Florida House this year:

The American Legislative Exchange Council is coordinating efforts between the states (42 so far) that are pursuing healthcare freedom legislation or Constitutional Amendments. The ALEC website is available here.

Liberty for Florida is a PAC that was formed to support the Florida Legislation.

Arizonans for Health Care Freedom is a similar organization in Arizona that has been working on the issue since 2009.

Obviously, these websites are separate organizations and are not affiliated with the NRCC. Read the information, do your own research, get educated on the issues, and remember to vote!
